University of Pikeville Men’s Basketball Coach Kelly Wells has promoted Brett Rector to the position of associate head coach. Rector helped lead the Bears to the NAIA Div. I men’s basketball national championship in his first season with the club. Rector was hired in April 2010 after spending two seasons as assistant coach at fellow Mid-South Conference club WVU Tech.
