Lazarus Sims is out as an assistant at Binghamton. The former Syracuse standout had been on Tommy Dempsey’s staff for the past two seasons. There has been no reason given for his departure – “parted ways” is the term that I keep hearing. I have also heard that current coordinator of player development Herb Courtney is in the mix to replace Sims. Courtney, who has also been on the staff for the past two seasons, starred at Delaware (2004-08) before playing professionally overseas.
