Back on 6/25, I mentioned that former Temple great Rick Brunson was set to join the staff at his alma mater (http://hoopdirt.com/blog/9b393f79/temple-dirt/…). I have now heard from a source close to the situation that they are now in a holding pattern following Brunson’s arrest in Chicago after an alleged sexual assault at a fitness center. According to Philly.com, Brunson grabbed an employee of Lifetime Fitness and was charged with attempted criminal sexual assault, criminal sexual abuse, and third-degree aggravated battery. I have heard from my source that officials at Temple are waiting for this to be resolved before commenting on the matter. More on this as I hear it.
