I have heard that UMass assistant Marlon "Smoke" Williamson will be hired as an assistant at Pitt. He would replace Barry "Slice" Rohrssen who departed Jamie Dixon’s staff back in May to become an assistant at Kentucky. Smoke has been at UMass for the past two seasons. Before joining the Minuteman staff, he spent nine years as the President of Youth Operations and Head Coach of The Family AAU (Detroit). Look for this to be made official in the next 48 hours.
