VCU associate head coach Mike Rhoades will be named as the next head coach at Rice. Rhoades has been on Shaka Smart’s staff since 2009. Before that, he spent 10 seasons as the head coach at Randolph-Macon College (197-76). He will replace Ben Braun who resigned earlier this month. The official announcement is expected tomorrow afternoon.
