Here’s today’s "dirt"…

• Yesterday, I mentioned the names that I had heard surrounding the job at Queens College of Charlotte (http://www.hoopdirt.com/blog/c6b518a9/queens-university-of-c…). I have now heard from three separate sources that North Texas assistants (and former Queens head coach) Bart Lundy is the choice here. The official announcement is expected any day.

• A.J. Bender has resigned as an assistant at Mount Aloysius College (PA) and will assume an assistant role at Mercyhurst University (PA). Bender is a 2007 Mt. Aloysius alum who has been on the staff since 2009.

• I can confirm that Bellevue University (NE) assistant Jai Stedman has departed and has become the head coach at Westwind Prep (AZ). Last season was Stedman’s first at BU – he has also worked at the University of North Texas, McNeese State University, Texas Christian University and Tyler Junior College. He also has worked in the NBA D-League.
