I have heard from a great source, and it has been confirmed by an equally big-time source that Maine assistant Nate Philippe will be hired as an assistant at American. Philippe had been at Maine for the past two years and was an assistant at University of North Dakota before that. Once the HR paperwork is finalized the official announcement will be made, which could be sometime next week.
