A couple quickies from the JC world…

• Garden City Community College head coach Rand Chappelle has resigned and will become an assistant at Eastern Illinois. Chappelle just finished his first season at GCCC with an 11-20 record. He has also been the head coach at Central Arkansas, Henderson State, and Phillips (OK).

• I have heard that Larry Brown has retired as the head coach at Ranger College. He will be replaced by Jimmy Voight. Most recently, Voight was a HS head coach in New Mexico – he as also been the head coach at Bluefield State and the associate head coach at Louisiana Monroe.
