I have heard that two searches are entering the final stages. Here are some updates on what I’ve heard at St. Mary’s (MN) and Linfield (OR)…..

• St. Mary’s (MN)

This past week they reportedly had three candidates on campus. They were: Matt Bessen (UW-Stout Associate head coach), Nigel Jenkins, (Waldorf [IA] Head Coach – former St. Mary’s assistant) and Jamison Rusthoven (UW-Platteville assistant). The final candidate coming to campus on Monday is believed to be Macalester College assistant coach, Isaiah Wallfred. A decision could be made by as early as this coming Friday.

• Linfield College (OR)

It sounds like they have narrowed their search down to four – the guys that I’ve heard are: Keith Cooper (former St. Martin’s head coach), Jeff Hironaka (Washington State DBO, former Seattle Pacific head coach), Eric Bridgeland (Whitman College head coach), and Greg Garrison (Corvallis HS head coach).
