Florida Southern assistant coach Nate Champion will be named as the next head basketball coach at his alma mater LeMoyne. He will replace Patrick Beilein who became the head coach at Niagara.

Following his graduation from LeMoyne back in 2014, he spent some time on their staff before signing a contract to play professionally in Australia. Following his playing career, he spent one season on the staff of NE-10 foe Stonehill College before moving on to Florida Southern.

An official announcement is expected shortly.
