The search at USC-Aiken is winding down, and is now down to two finalists. I have heard that the final four candidates wrapped up on-campus interviews last week, and a decision could come as early as tomorrow. I have heard that two of the candidates, both current DII head coaches, have pulled out of the race. That leaves the final two as Anderson University (SC) head coach Jason Taylor, and Louisburg College head coach Mark Vanderslice. Taylor is the all-time winningest head coach in Anderson history – he has a 157-113 record since taking over in 2006. Vanderslice just wrapped up his fifth season at Louisburg. His squad went 27-4 this past year, and he holds a 152-20 career record at LC. More on this tomorrow as I hear it…
