Yesterday, I mentioned that Eric Wilson was the leader to replace Quinton Ferrell as an assistant at the College of Charleston. I can now confirm that he is in fact the choice, and will be hired as an assistant on Earl Grant’s staff.
Before becoming and assistant at Western Carolina, Wilson spent six years as an assistant at his alma mater Western Carolina. He also spent time as an assistant coach, and later interim head coach at Truett McConnell College.
BONUS DIRT: NCCU has already filled both of it’s vacant assistant spots (Wilson + Luke D’Alessio who became the head coach at Fayetteville State earlier this spring). I’ll run with those names later today…
