I have now heard from multiple sources that New Orleans assistant Kenyon Spears will become an assistant at LIU Brooklyn.  Spears is familiar with the Northeast Conference (NEC) – he was on Mike Deane’s staff at Wagner from 2005-2010 serving the last two seasons there as the associate head coach.  The Texas native has also been an assistant at Brown and his alma mater Lamar.
