A few things that I’ve heard so far this weekend…

• I mentioned the search at UTRGV back on 3/22 (UTRGV Search Update).  I have now heard that the final group is 8 and includes two current head coaches – including one from the OVC.  It sounds like this group will be pared down over the next day or so, and the top 2-3 will visit campus after that.

• I have heard Tracy Webster’s name come up multiple times surrounding the search at Milwaukee.  The current Cal associate head coach has also been an assistant at Tennessee, Illinois, Kentucky, Nebraska, and DePaul (where he was the interim head coach for the end of the 2010 season).

• Search firm updates: I can confirm that Parker has the Stony Brook search and Fogler has the Stephen F. Austin search.  More on these as I hear them…
