Michael Brooks is out as the Head Basketball Coach and Director of Athletics at DIII Cazenovia College (NY). The Cazenovia alum and hall of famer had been the head coach since the 2013-14 season, and had been an assistant for two years before that.  In his three seasons at the helm, he compiled a 30-46 record including an 11-14 mark during the 2015-16 campaign.  There has been no word on the reason for his departure, but I’ve heard that an official announcement will be made by the school this week.
