Following on something that I TWEETED at 4:00pm…

The Phil Martelli to Michigan rumors are heating up. I’ve now heard from multiple sources that he could be named as the associate head coach on Juwan Howard’s staff as early as tomorrow. 

Martelli was released as the head coach at St. Joe’s earlier this spring after a very successful 24-year run (444-328).

This would be a big-time hire by Howard, as Martelli would bring a veteran presence to the Wolverines new staff.
