With the 2017-18 academic year about to get underway, Little Rock head men’s basketball coach Wes Flanigan has announced a number of updates to the Trojans’ basketball personnel.
Flanigan has added Logan Dahms to the staff as the Trojans’ Director of Basketball Operations. Dahms, who played his collegiate ball at Covenant College in Georgia, as well as professionally in both Costa Rica and Moldova, comes to Little Rock after spending last season as a video and analytics assistant for the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA’s Developmental League while also assisting the NBA champion Golden State Warriors.
“When we lost Jon Trilli, my immediate thought was how I could make the staff better,” Flanigan said. “We have found that guy in Logan. He has had his hands in so many aspects of basketball as both a player and coach. He has been a strength and condition coach and has five years of experience in four Power Five conferences. His experience with analytics in the NBDL last season with the Santa Cruz Warriors was an added value that I feel can help our program. I’m very excited about our staff moving forward with the addition of Logan.”
Along with the hiring of Dahms, Josh Priola has been promoted to a special assistant as well as remaining the video coordinator. In his second season in Little Rock, Priola brings experience from both TCU and LSU while assisting with day-to-day operations of the program.
“Josh Priola exemplifies everything about the moniker GRIT that we stand by in our department,” Flanigan said. “After one year in our program, he has set an example of what hard work and unselfishness means among our staff. He is your typical first one in and last one to leave kind of person and his promotion is well deserved.”
