I can confirm that Mt. Ida College (MA) head coach Ben Davis has accepted an administrative spot on the basketball staff at Dartmouth. Davis, who spent the last four seasons at Mt. Ida, which included last seasons 17-10 record and GNAC Coach of the Year honors, had previously worked for Dartmouth head coach David McLaughlin at Stonehill College. He has also worked as an assistant coach at Siena.

I have also heard that current Mt. Ida assistant coach Brian Cerone will replace Davis. Cerone had been at Mt. Ida for the past four seasons. He also spent two seasons as an assistant at UMass-Boston.

An official announcement is expected shortly.
