I can confirm that Arcadia University will name Millersville University assistant Adam Van Zelst as their new head basketball coach. He will replace Justin Scott, who became an assistant at St. Joe’s earlier in the spring.

Last season was Van Zelst’s first at MU – he had spent the previous eight seasons as an assistant at his alma mater Albright College before that.

I heard that he beat two other finalists for the job – Case Western assistant Mike Fitzpatrick and a current DIII head coach in NY.

An official announcement is expected shortly.
