I can confirm Daytona State will name Brock Morris as their new head basketball coach. The former South Alabama assistant will replace Erik Pastrana who became an assistant at Florida Atlantic earlier this spring.

Morris had served on Matthew Graves staff at South Alabama since 2015. He has also worked as an assistant at the College of Southern Idaho and as the Director of Basketball Operations at Louisiana-Lafayette. Morris began his career as a graduate assistant at Alabama in 2008.

I have heard that he will begin his duties on May 1st. An official announcement is expected before that.
