Rockland Community College (NY) will name Patrick McGuinness as their new head men’s basketball coach.

McGuinness has been on the staff at D3 Springfield College for the past two seasons. The New York native began his playing career at LeMoyne College, before transferring to Bridgewater State for his final three seasons. After his graduation in 2017, he served as an assistant at Walpole (MA) HS.

He will replace Tom Cromer who resigned earlier this spring after just one season on the job. The Hawks went 8-16 (1-7) this past season.

An official announcement is expected shortly.
