I have heard from multiple sources that D2 Clark Atlanta University will name Little Rock assistant Alfred Jordan as their new head men’s basketball coach. He would replace George Lynch, who’s contract was not renewed after two seasons (28-28) at CAU.
Jordan, a CAU alum, has been on Darrell Walker’s staff at Little Rock for the past two seasons. Before that, he spent eight seasons as an assistant at Clark Atlanta. During his time at his alma mater, Jordan was a part of three Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship teams, including the regular season champions in 2009-10 and the SIAC tournament champions in 2011 and 2017.
It sounds like he beat out Norfolk State University assistant Jamal Brown for the job.
More on this when it becomes official.
