I can confirm that Brion Dunlop is no longer the head men’s basketball coach at Harris-Stowe State University (MO). Dunlop had been the head coach at the school since 2016, and has been replaced on an interim basis by assistant coach Derek Thompson.
During his tenure at HSSU, Dunlop went 81-56 (.691) and his teams won three conference championships, including the first in school history for men’s basketball.
Prior to coming to Harris-Stowe, Dunlap had served as an assistant at D2 Winston-Salem State, and had D1 stints at Holy Cross (2010-15), and Mount St. Mary’s (2003-2010).
Harris-Stowe went 0-10 during this COVID shortened season, and forfeited three games early in the year.
