Holy Cross released the following statement on the status of head coach Brett Nelson:

Due to COVID-19 protocols, Holy Cross head men’s basketball coach Brett Nelson will not coach the Crusaders from the bench during their next two games, at Central Connecticut and La Salle.  

The Holy Cross medical staff has cleared the team to compete, and is following institutional and conference participation protocols and COVID guidelines.

The Crusaders will travel to Central Connecticut on Wednesday, Dec. 1, at 7:00 p.m. Holy Cross will then head to La Salle on Saturday, Dec. 4, at 2:00 p.m.

Holy Cross is currently 2-5 on the season, with both of their wins coming against D3 opponents.
