I can confirm that Yale Director of Men’s Basketball Operations Matt Elkin is on the move and will join Kyle Smith’s new staff at new ACC member Stanford. It sounds like he will assume the title of Assistant Recruiting Coordinator.

Elkin joined the Yale staff back in 2020 after a two-year stint as an assistant coach at the Windward School in Los Angeles. He has also worked as a graduate assistant at Northeastern, an assistant at Vermont Academy, and spent time with the West Coast Elite.

An official announcement is expected with in the next week or so.
