Holy Cross men’s basketball head coach Dave Paulsen has announced that Brady Antonopoulos has been hired as the team’s assistant coach/director of basketball operations for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
“We’re excited to add Brady to our basketball staff,” Paulsen said. “He comes highly recommended from many highly respected coaches. He did a phenomenal job in operations and video roles at Weber State, then gained invaluable experience at Gonzaga this past season. He has hit the ground running and is already forming great relationships with our players, staff, and throughout the department.”
Antonopoulos comes to The Hill following the 2025-26 season as a graduate assistant under Head Coach Mark Few at Gonzaga. During his lone season in Spokane, the Bulldogs were 31-4 and reached the second round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
“I want to thank Coach Paulsen for this incredible opportunity,” said Antonopoulos. “Being able to come back home and work for a program with such rich tradition is an honor. Growing up in the area, I know what a special place the College of the Holy Cross is. I’m excited for the challenge of helping this program pursue Patriot League Championships and return to the NCAA Tournament. Go Crusaders!”
Before Gonzaga, Antonopoulos spent four years at Weber State (2021-2025) helping the Wildcats to multiple 20+ win seasons during his tenure.
He began his career as the video coordinator in 2021-22 and then spent two seasons as the director of basketball operations before being promoted to assistant coach/operations director ahead of the 2024-25 campaign. He assisted the coaching staff and oversaw logistics of the program’s day-to-day operations, including coordination of team travel, meals and student-athlete development. He assisted in the development of five student-athletes securing All-Big Sky Conference accolades, including Big Sky MVP and 2024 NBA first round pick Dillon Jones.
Antonopoulos graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 2021. He served as a student-manager for two seasons under head coach Matt McCall before earning a spot on the team as a walk-on for the 2020-21 season.
