I can confirm that Joe Dooley is out as the head coach at East Carolina.

This past season was his fourth in his second tenure at ECU, and 7th overall as the head coach there. Dooley went 44-67 over the past four seasons, including 15-15 (6-11) this past year.

Dooley spent five seasons as the head coach at FGCU where he went 114-58 (.663), and also spent ten seasons as an assistant at Kansas.
