BREAKING: TCU to Name Jamie Dixon Head Basketball Coach

CBSSports.com’s Jon Rothstein is reporting the Pitt head coach Jamie Dixon is headed to TCU.  Dixon, a 1987 TCU alum, has been at Pitt for the past 13 seasons where he has gone 328-123.  It sounds like the official announcement could come as early as this afternoon.  More on this developing story as we hear it.

JUCO DIRT – 3/21/16

Two quick things that I’ve heard from the JUCO world… It sounds like veteran head coach Mike Ray has retired at NJCAA DI Lincoln Trail College (IL).  He has been the head coach at LTC since, 2012, and has also worked at Vincennes (IN), and Wabash Valley.  Ray led the Statesmen to a 19-12 (13-5) record

HOT RUMOR: Cincinnati’s Mick Cronin Involved at UNLV

Multiple reports have surfaced over the past 24-hours surrounding Cincinnati head coach Mick Cronin and his involvement at UNLV.  The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported earlier that Cronin is a candidate to replace Dave Rice as the head coach of the Runnin’ Rebels.  The Lobo Lair  has gone a step further and reported that Cronin will be visiting UNLV
