I have heard that there are three finalists in the search to replace Ken D’Agostino as the head coach at Ave Maria University (FL).  Two of the final three are:

• John Lamanna – Head Coach Franciscan University (OH).  Has been at Franciscan for the past five seasons.  Re-started the basketball program which has been discontinued in 1980.  Before coming to Franciscan, spent five seasons as an assistant at UC Davis  and two seasons as the DBO at Loyola Marymount.

• Zach Moss – Assistant Coach Ave Maria.  Last season was his first on the Gyrenes staff.  Is a Naples (FL) native, and has coached at a bunch of local high schools.  Is also very active in the local grassroots scene.
