Field narrowed at Toledo

Apparently Toledo AD Mike O’Brien has narrowed down the field for the vacant men’s basketball job and has begun interviews. According to my source, Memphis assistant Willis Wilson (former Head Coach at Rice) interviewed on Saturday and Western Carolina Head Coach Larry Hunter interviewed yesterday. Willard to be hired at Seton Hall

Multiple sources are reporting that Iona Head Coach will take over at Seton Hall. Willard was 45-49 in his three seasons at Iona including a 21-10 mark this season. The hire was decided upon after top choice Fran McCaffrey accepted the Iowa job earlier in the day. A press conference is expected early next week.

McCaffery named Head Coach at Iowa

Fran McCaffery has been named Head Coach at Iowa. McCaffery has spent the last 5 seasons at Siena leading them to a 112-51 record. He’ll be formally introduced at a press conference (tentatively set for 11 a.m.) to be held in Iowa City on Monday.

Louisiana-Lafayette set to name Marlin
