McDaniel Head Basketball Coach Kevin Curley passes away

McDaniel College is saddened by the loss of head men’s basketball coach Kevin Curley who passed away on Wednesday, May 27 after battling metastatic esophageal cancer. The winningest coach in the history of the men’s basketball program, Curley became the first coach in team history to total 200 wins at McDaniel with a 60-58 win over Ramapo at home on Nov. 14, 2025.
