Justin Griffith has been named as an assistant coach for the Mount Olive College men’s basketball team, it was announced by Trojan head coach Joey Higginbotham. Chris McHugh, a former assistant coach with the Mount Saint Mary College men’s basketball program, has been named as the assistant men’s basketball coach at Connecticut College. Former Northern State coach Don Meyer is recovering in a Minneapolis-area hospital after having a pacemaker implanted. His wife, Carmen Meyer, told the American News, of Aberdeen, S.D., that the surgery on Wednesday went well. The 67-year-old Meyer also recently had three heart valves replaced with mechanical ones and had a hole in his heart
