Paul Corsaro, who was dismissed today as the head men’s basketball coach at IU Indianapolis, has issued the following statement:
Corsaro, an Indianapolis native, led IU Indy to a 10-22 record this past season. Before his brief stint with the Jaguars, he led cross town D2 UIndy to a 79-37 (.681) in four seasons. He was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference and Midwest Region Coach of the Year in 2022-23.
Earlier today, the University issued a statement which read in part, “His behavior did not meet the university’s values and standards regarding the treatment of student athletes.”
