I can confirm that D2 Coker University (SC) will name Brett Rector as their new head men’s basketball coach. Rector has spent the past two seasons as the head coach at Salem University (WVa), where he has gone 39-19 (.672). This past season, Rector’s Salem squad went 19-12 and captured the USCAA D1 National Championship.

Prior to his time at Salem, Rector served as an assistant at the University of Charleston, Eastern Kentucky University (Women’s), University of Pikeville, and West Virginia Tech. He played collegiately at D2 Davis & Elkins College.
