I can confirm through multiple sources that Converse College head coach Ryan Saunders has resigned, and will become an assistant at D1 Elon College.

Saunders was hired back in 2020 as the first-ever head coach in Converse men’s basketball history. He spent his first year recruiting, and the team played for the first-time ever last season.

Prior to his time at Converse, Saunders was an assistant at Belmont Abbey where he worked for new Elon head coach Billy Taylor.
