I can confirm that Max Pendery has resigned as the head basketball coach at D2 East Central University (OK).

Pendery took over at ECU last spring, replacing former head coach Chris Crutchfield who became an assistant at Oregon (he has since become the head coach at Omaha). Pendery had spent the 2020-21 season on Crutchfield’s staff ECU, and had served as a GA at Arkansas the year before that while Crutchfield was an assistant on the Razorbacks staff.

Last season, East Central went 11-18 (9-13 GAC).
