I can confirm that the men’s basketball job at Emory and Henry will open, with an announcement coming sometime this week. Ben Thompson, who had been the Wasps head coach for the past five seasons will be taking a position in the advancement office at the college.

Thompson led E&H’s transition from D3 to D2 back in 2021-22. Prior to that, he served as the head coach at D3 SUNY Canton from 2016-19. The veteran coach has also worked at Lincoln Memorial, Virginia Tech, UNC Greensboro, UNC Pembroke, and Saint Leo.
