Following-up on my TWEET from earlier this morning…

I can confirm that D2 Lynn University (FL) head basketball coach Jeff Price will step down at the end of the season.

Price, a coaching veteran, is in his second stint at Lynn. He served as the Fighting Knights head coach from 1993-99, and again from 2013 until this season. Price has also been the head coach at Georgia Southern (1999-2009), and was the interim head coach at South Alabama in 2013. In addition to those roles, he spent time as an assistant at Washington and the head coach at West Virginia Wesleyan. In 27 seasons as a head coach, he holds a 416-327 (.560) career record.

The official announcement is expected late this afternoon.
