D2 Maryville University head basketball coach Jesse Shaw is on the move, and will become an assistant at Drake. Shaw played with new Drake head coach Ben McCollum at Northwest Missouri State in the early 2000’s and the two worked as assistants together at Emporia State from 2006-08.

Shaw had spent the past four seasons as the head coach at Maryville, where he went 48-55 (.466). He has also served as the head coach at Pratt CC (KS) and as an assistant at Missouri St. Louis.
