I have now heard from multiple sources that D2 Northwood University (MI) intends to hire D2 Tiffin University head coach Tom Church to take over their men’s basketball program. Church officially resigned from Tiffin earlier today.

Church has spent the past six seasons at Tiffin, and has also served as the head coach at IU Kokomo and St. Joseph’s (IN). This past season, he led the Dragons to an 18-12 (11-9 GMAC) record.

Church would replace Lonnie Griffin, who resigned back in early April after four seasons on the job.
