On Friday in the Daily Dirt, I mentioned that John Redman had departed NJCAA D1 Northwest Mississippi CC as the head basketball coach. I can now confirm through multiple sources that Redman will take over at his alma mater, D2 Spring Hill College (AL).
Last season was Redman’s first and only season at Northwest Mississippi, where he led the Rangers to an 18-12 (7-7) record. Before that, Redman had a seven year run at D2 Delta State and has also been an assistant at Dalton State and the University of Mobile. He began his career as a student assistant at SHC.
An official announcement is expected early next week.
