I have heard from multiple sources that there are three finalists for the job at D2 Harding University (AR). They are in the hunt to replace Jeff Morgan, who retired as HU’s head coach after 30 seasons at the helm of the Bisons (he will continue as the AD). The names that I’ve heard are:

• Matt Hall – head coach Central Arkansas Christian HS. A former player and Hall of Famer at Harding.

• Weston Jameson – women’s assistant coach at Abilene Christian. A former player at Harding who also spent five seasons on staff there.

• Ray Lynn Woods – current Harding assistant. Has been there for 18-seasons.

It sounds like the job has been offered, and an official announcement could come by the end of the week.
