I have heard that D3 St. Joseph’s University (LI) intends to name AJ Uhl as their new head basketball coach.

Uhl has spent the past three seasons on Tim Fusina’s staff at D3 Waynesburg University (PA). He has also been an assistant to Fusina at both Cal Lutheran (2017-19) and Centenary University (NJ) (2016-17).

The New York native is no stranger to the Skyline Conference, as he played at League foe Mount Saint Mary College (NY) from 2010-14. Uhl was part of the 2012 team that won the ECAC Championship and he led the team in three-point shooting percentage during the 2011-12 and 2013-14 seasons.

Uhl would replace Mike McSloy who became the head coach at D3 Drew University back in mid-June.
