With some late summer coaching departures, there are still a few open D3 jobs. Here’s what I’ve heard…
Elms College (MA): Former head coach Chris Piscioneri took the Maine Farmington job back on 8/6. It sounds like interviews here are done, with at least three in the final group. The names that I have heard include: Yale DBO Derrick Seldon, former Anna Maria head coach Shawn Conrad (Anna Maria closed at the end of the spring 2026 semester), and a current prep school head coach in Massachusetts. It sounds like the position has been offered, and an official announcement is coming as early as this week.
Notre Dame (MD): T.J. Jordan departed on 8/3 to become the head coach at McDaniel. I can confirm that interviews are complete here, and it sounds like the leader is Kyle McGee. He most recently served as an assistant at D2 Millersville, and has also worked as an assistant at Elizabethtown and Lycoming. Sounds like we’ll here something official from Notre Dame this week.
Johnson and Wales (RI): Long-time head coach Jamie Benton announced his retirement on August 20th. I don’t have a great update here, but I can confirm that interviews are underway, and at least one Centennial Conference assistant coach has interviewed. I’ll work to get more here.
