D3 St. Mary’s University of Minnesota has opened, as head basketball coach Joe Fano is headed to the prep level. No announcement yet by St. Mary’s, but Nazareth Academy posted the following on their social media:

Fano had been the head coach at St. Mary’s since the 2018-19 season, and put together a 66-95 (.410) record. This past season, his team went 6-19 (2-14).

Prior to his time with the Cardinals, Fano worked as an assistant at D3’s Benedictine University and North Park University.
