Sounds like Dayton is going to add Tom Ostrom and Allen Griffin to the staff. Ostrom was most recently an assistant at Arkansas under John Pelphrey. He also worked for Pelphrey at South Alabama and was at Florida before that. Griffin was an assistant at Hofstra last season. He has also been at St. Francis (NY) and Providence.

According to a source, American head coach Jeff Jones will interview at George Mason today. I also mentioned Jones in my blog about George Washington yesterday (http://hoopdirt.com/blog/821cbdb1/george-washington-rumors/…). Former West Virginia standout Joe Mazzulla is considering an offer from Nova Southeastern head coach Gary Tuell to join his staff. Mazzulla wants to get into coaching, but is also weighing professional opportunities. He will visit the Nova Southeastern campus in the next few weeks to decide if he wants the job.
