Bryston Williams has joined Ben McCollum’s new staff at Drake. Williams had been an assistant at Wyoming since last March, and was at Indiana State before that. He played for McCollum at Northwest Missouri, and began his coaching career as a GA there. An official announcement is coming shortly.
The Athletic’s Nicole Auerbach is reporting that Georgia assistant Akeem Miskdeen will head to Michigan to reunite with Dusty May. Miskdeen worked for May at FAU from 2018-21, and has also been an assistant at Florida, Kent State and Hampton.

Some names making the rounds surrounding the search at D2 Rockhurst include State Fair CC head coach Matt Brown (former head coach at UMKC), former South Dakota and Omaha assistant Pat Eberhart, Butler CC head coach Kyle Fisher, Upper Iowa head coach Brooks McKowen, and Johnson county head coach Rand Chappell. Working to see where they are in the process right now.
I have heard that D2 Seattle Pacific will remove the interim tag from Keffrey Fazio’s title, and name him as the permanent head coach. Fazio took over at SPU last May after then head coach Grant Leep departed for and assistant spot at Seattle. An official announcement is expected shortly.
The search at D2 Lynn is done. Announcement is expected shortly. I have heard that they are hiring a current head coach with Florida ties. Stay tuned…
I have also heard that the search at D3 UW Eau Claire is done. It sounds like the announcement will be made this afternoon at 2:30pm (CDT). I don’t have names, but from my understanding the final group was 4 which included a current D3 head coach with ties to the program, and a current in-state D1 assistant. More on this one once it’s made official.
