A few things that I’ve heard…

  • It sounds like the list of five candidates at Presbyterian has now been trimmed to three, and a second round of on-campus interviews will take place. Putting together a bunch of pieces here, but it sounds like Wofford associate head coach Dustin Kearns and Charleston Southern associate head coach are two of the three. More on this one as I hear it…

  • I can confirm that Jim McCarthy is no longer an assistant at Towson. He has departed for family reasons. McCarthy had been on Pat Skerry’s staff for the past four seasons, and was an assistant at Northeastern before that.

  • Former Butler guard Tyler Lewis has accepted an administrative position on Bob Richey’s staff at Furman. He will become the video coordinator/assistant to the head coach. Lewis, a former McDonald’s All-American, played for two seasons at NC State before transferring to Butler.

  • Former Duquesne assistant coach Brian Baudinet has been named as the head coach at the Canterbury School (CT). He had been on Jim Ferry’s staff since 2014, and was not retained when Ferry was released earlier this spring. Baudinet has also served as an assistant at Trinity College (CT), and AIC (MA).

  • I have heard that John Preziosa will be joining that staff at DIII Emmanuel College (MA). Coach Prez is the former head coach at Wheelock College (2007-2011), and has also served as an assistant at Salem State College.
