Somethings that I have heard today…

• I have heard that NJIT assistant Dino Presley will fill Donyell Marshall’s spot at Rider.  Marshall left back in April to become an assistant on Nate Oats’ staff at Buffalo.  Before coming to NJIT in 2014, Presley spent four seasons as an assistant at Marshall.  He has also worked at Towson, East Carolina, Drexel, UMBC, and St. Bonaventure.

• The “hot” name right now at Montclair State is Cornell assistant Marlon Sears.  The DI veteran has been an assistant at Cornell for the past five seasons, and has also had stops at Binghamton, Wagner, High Point.  Sounds like an announcement from Montclair State will happen shortly.

• I can confirm that former Wheeling Jesuit GA Danny Manuel has become the head coach at The Miller School (Va.).  He has also been an assistant at his alma mater Davis and Elkins.

• I have heard that Ryan Van Zelst will become an assistant at Scranton.  He was most recently an assistant at Washington College (MD), and has also been at Yok College (PA).  Van Zelst will replace Joe Mihalich who recently joined Steve Donahue’s staff at Penn.
