Catching-up on a few things…


McNeese State will add Robert Burlingham as their new Director of Basketball Operations. Burlingham was most recently a graduate assistant for Keno Davis at Central Michigan and has also worked as an assistant at West Virginia Tech.


Trent Skinner has resigned as the head coach at College of the Desert (CCCAA) after two seasons, and will return to the staff at Mt. San Jacinto College. He will be replaced by assistant coach Robert Romero.


Olympic College (NWAC) has hired Ryley Callaghan as their new head men’s basketball coach. He will replace Craig Murray who resigned earlier this summer after four seasons. Callaghan, who played at Hawaii-Hilo, had spent time as a graduate assistant at Corban University.


It sounds like JUCO Angelina College (TX) was offered to a former high major assistant. More on this one shortly.


D3 Colby-Sawyer College offered their head men’s basketball coach job to a D3 assistant who turned it down. Word on the street is that an offer has now been made to another candidate. More on this one soon.


D3 Framingham State narrowed a group of 8-10 candidates down to 4-5 after first round Zoom interviews. The group includes a mix of D3 assistants, at least one small college head coach, and an alum.


D3 SUNY Cobleskill wrapped up interviews yesterday. It sounds like there are four finalists, with an offer expected by the end of the week.


Timothy Ward and Rashad Lindsey have been hired as assistants at Moberly Area CC. Ward was most recently an assistant at Talladega College. Lindsey, a MACC alum, had been coaching at the HS level.
